Angela Marie shares a poignant journey from trauma to redemption, weaving her struggle with identity, the pain of rejection, and the impact of past traumas.

My book, The Naked Truth Redeemed was birthed out of my pain. I didn’t realize how broken I was. I was tired of repeating the same cycles over and over again and not getting different results. I finally decided to start therapy, give my life to Christ, and allow him to redeem me of all the labels that I had tattooed on myself over the years!

Labels like: shame, guilt, rejection, fear, abuse, etc.

I was a victim, but now I know that I don’t have to allow my experiences in my past to define me in my future. I continued to take one day at a time; however, after giving my life to Christ, I noticed something different, and I began to start healing. I found peace!

I was emotionally isolated because I didn’t want to expose my “issues”. I felt like I was dealing with my life experiences alone, but God revealed that many women are suffering in silence.

“We are all kindred spirits not through our perfections, but our imperfections.”

I created The Naked Truth Redeemed movement, as a means of expression for women to feel safe and talk about their issues. The Naked Truth Redeemed is a haven for women to know that they are not alone in their issues. We don’t suffer alone, in fact, a lot of us share similar trauma, heartache, and pain.
