13 times more likely to abuse alcohol
26 times more likely to abuse drugs
4 times more likely to contemplate suicide

We all can take a STAND by:

being informed and educating ourselves by attending workshops and seminars on sexual violence in our communities
talking to our children about healthy sexual boundaries especially if there is a history of sexual violence in the family
not participating in crude jokes about sexual violence - it's not a laughing matter!
not blaming the victim but placing responsibility on the perpetrator
speaking up and not remaining silent
supporting and encouraging survivor's to seek professional help in order to promote emotional healing

ARISE! International, Inc has many needs for products or services.
